Lubbock-Cooper ISD is launching a mobile site where parents, employees, students, and community members can use their smart phones to keep up with district FAQs, notifications, alerts, and basic information. On occasion, subscribers to the mobile site will also receive text messages notifying them of district-wide alerts (this is in addition to SchoolMessenger notifications). The site can be accessed by texting PIRATES to the number 70720. The response will include a link to the mobile site and directions for accessing help and stopping further messages from the mobile site. This is a great way to keep Lubbock-Cooper news at your fingertips!
Congratulations to Laura Bush Middle School and Parkhill Smith & Cooper, co-recipients of the 2011 Armstrong Commercial Flooring Solution Spotlight Award. Armstrong honored LCMS and PS&C with this award because of the use of Migrations flooring on the campus, which is a more efficient and environmentally-sound flooring option.

On January 4, LCISD's attorney, Ann Manning, presented the district's staff a seminar over the Family Educational Rights and privacy Act ( 1974 ). This is a federal law that pertains to the release of and access to educational records. Because each year, many questions arise with regard to student educational records, we thought it would be a very good idea to post this information on the district's web site so that our parents would have access to this as well ". Please click here to view.
