Buzz Line - 863.7190

In our ongoing effort to maintain a safe and secure learning environment for our students and staff, Lubbock-Cooper ISD is introducing the “Buzz Line” – a voice mail message system that allows individuals to confidentially report information about a potentially serious or dangerous situation at school.  In particular, the district would like to encourage parents and students to report any information (even if only a rumor) about drugs or weapons being brought to school.  When a message is recorded on the “Buzz Line,” an email is automatically sent to the Superintendent of Schools and the Chief of Police alerting them that a message has been left.

The “Buzz Line” will be accessible 24 hours a day, and as stated previously, is totally confidential.  School officials will take appropriate action based on the information contained in the recorded message.

While no school district can ever be considered 100% safe, it is the duty of the LCISD Board of Trustees and administration to continually strive to achieve such a goal.  We feel that the new LCISD “Buzz Line” will greatly assist us in this endeavor.

The “Buzz Line” number is 863.7190.  It has been activated, and is currently operational.
